DIORGI LOPEZ, ARNP

Diorgi Lopez has been with Emed Multispecialty for over 9 years and has far-ranging medical experience and education. Upon his graduation from the EDP University – Recinto de Hato Rey, Diorgi was a family physician in Cuba for 2 years. Following his time in Cuba, Diorgi travelled to Venezuela becoming the Family Physician/Manager at the Internal Diagnosis Center in Villa Rosario where he focused on diabetic foot ulcers.

Diorgi continued his medical education after moving to the States and receiving his Master’s degree in Nursing from the Miami Regional University in 2016. His work at Moffitt Cancer Center landed him as a full time RN at Emed Multispecialty Group working in pain management and primary care.

Diorgi is now a seasoned Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) with a focus on oncology. Being bilingual in English and Spanish has made Diorgi a valuable member of the Emed family, as he sees pain management patients daily and works hard to alleviate their symptoms and improve their quality of life.

For those patients fortunate enough to under Diorgi’s care find themselves treated like a beloved family member. Patients love his “bedside manner” because he takes the time to understand their needs and address their concerns. His mission in healthcare is to inspire hope and contribute to health and well-being by offering the best care to every patient through integrated clinical practice and education.
